I've been fortunate enough to meet some really good people putting together some really amazing things in Atlanta. One of my good buddies TK James and an awesome young lady by the name of Lindsey Maxfield are responsible for two budding accessories lines that were on display at The High Museum for its handmade crafts event.

I was thoroughly impressed by the quality, packaging and design of the lines they displayed. TK is responsible for J Karl; a pocket square brand which is designed and produced in Atlanta. I asked him a while back why did he decide to create a line of pocket squares and his answer was what all aspiring designers should be ideally trying to do. He said "I couldn't find pocket squares I liked so I decided to make my own". The line is full of well crafted and unique designs which should accent any blazer for the well dressed urban gentlemen. I, myself, purchased a gorgeous silk paisley pocket square that I wore to TK's charity/birthday event and the Red Tie Soiree last Sunday with a tweed blazer and it was quite the look(if I do say so myself).

Lindsey offers a line of beautiful jewelry called LouLie which include gold necklaces and bracelets and beaded bracelets. I personally have been a fan of her Matte Gold Louban Link necklace for some time. She offers her necklaces and bracelets made to order so depending on how long you want it, she can make it happen. I actually have never seen a matte gold necklace done that way and she executes it effortlessly. She's also a major sweetheart. I purchased a very dope green beaded bracelet to accent a watch I just bought and I have had several compliments already(Support your friends please).

TK and Lindsey are quality people with great things coming in 2015, check out their lines please. You can check out J Karl at www.etsy.com/shop/jkarlusa and LouLie  at www.louliebylindsey.com
