It's easy to get jaded with street wear...even easier to get jaded by the boutiques that seem to pop up over night in major cities across the country. I personally have a few favorites across the U.S. and haven't been impressed for at least 4 years...streak broken. A Ma Maniere(which means "my way" in french...well played)truly embodies the growth of streetwear as it enters new ground in luxury.
The shops aesthetic is dope. It gives an actual luxury feel with pieces encased in glass, colorful and vibrant kicks and dope artqork hanging on the walls, and MCM bags donning its shelves. The store also has a staple in Atlanta known as Frank "The Cooker" Cooke. The man known for bringing the already popular boutique wish to national and worldwide prominence. He's doing the same with A Ma Maniere. I was sctually at thr store to show support for a tee that frank released "BHY". A simple but powerful message expressing that the celebration of black history and culture for that matter shouldn't be boxed in to a measly 28 days, but ALWAYS.
A Ma Maniere actually carries a few of my favorites in streewear including STAMPD, a LA based brand specializing in mostly black and white streetwear pieces. The shop has been around over a year and has brought a sense of the trabsition that streetwear has been making into Luxury Streetwear.
If you need a dope spot for your streetwear needs in Atlanta(as well as Standard), A Ma Maniere is my suggestion, and feel free to go in and chop it up with Frank, genuinely one of the best guys in Atlanta.
