I've been all over the place...the corporate gig has been crazy and I've got a lot of big things swirling. I'm excited to be finally putting myself in position to merge finance and fashion. On that road to doing so, I've been lucky enough to work with the awesome people at Ponce Denim Co. As per my last post; Farshad, Sandy and Ruel have been nothing short of amazing. Our staff got even better when former cheap Monday account manager and Wish ATL employee Jonathan Aguire joined as the store manager. Aside from giving me his insight on the business of denim and fashion, he and his twin brother own a pin line, Dead Ringers.
As soon as he told me, I went straight to the website. I was supremely intrigued because everyone is doing Tee's and copying some other idea that's been done already. It's very cool to come across a good genuine creative idea, especially something like pins. I was very impressed by some of the dope pins they had on the site particularly the Kanye pin and the smokey the bear themed "it's lit" pin(pic coming soon). Jon was gracious enough to bless me with a Kanye pin and as we speak I'm waiting on the "lit" pin to show up in the mail. They have a distinct collection of dope pins that are plays off of pop culture and that connect to the youth of millenials everywhere. Jon informed me of some dope collabs coming up soon so I'll be on the lookout and you should too.
In the meantime, check out the site http://deadringers.us (free shipping) and check out a pin or two for you or some friends. And then come check us out at Ponce Denim(cheap/free plug)
