"a little bit of summer is what the whole year is all about..." It's approaching, so it's that time to get your staple summer wear and your signature summer '16 gear in order. I've done minimal shopping and usually have done minimal design the past couple of summers. Basics and dope accessories to accentuate the way I wear as opposed to what I wear.
This summer is a little different though. Inspired by the vintage bombers I've seen lately and my cousin, I've legit become obsessed with my new pick up; my Zara patch bomber. Although a jacket isn't an accessory, it'll serve its purpose as the accent to the modern basics that define the majority of my style. The bomber follows a space camp motif with planets and spaceships sewn in through various parts of the jacket. The base is your typical olive/khaki bomber composed of polyester, it's light (and thin) enough to be worn on those summer nights, even in Atlanta.
The jacket is still available on the Zara website, and is a steal in my opinion, for only $90. I always suggest ordering a size up in Zara. I completed my outfit this night with my favorite G Star red line Selvedge 3301's, and my favorite gap Slub baseball tee with my Cheap Monday "tooth" chain and J Crew x Vans.
