I’ve been THE ADVOCATE for a navy suit and white shirt. It’s the foundation of your closet. I’ve been in love with going formal and keeping a clean tie and more crisp button up to engagement lately(preferably spread collar and cutaways for a more traditional look). The challenge for me at this particular party was to dress down a little more than typical. It was a day party for an engagement and the dress code didn’t require the stuffier fit I’ve been into lately. So we adapt. Going with the A.P.C button up, that I’ve faithfully endorsed with my Navy Suit Supply Lazio was a dream pairing. The sleeves were a little longer on the casual shirt, but not enough to bother me or make it look too crazy. The look was perfect because the collar was a classic that worked well when unbuttoned. Taking advantage of Atlanta’s “late fall”, going unbuttoned (two buttons down)made it look more fun and gave a touch of confidence.

Topped off with a washed navy paisley pocket square and gold lapel pin from The Debonair Club, the fit worked seamless and effortlessly with my Suit Supply Brown Leathr Tassel Loafers.

explore these options and let me know what oubthink of the look.
