We've gotten through Memorial Day weekend and summer is upon us. Patios, festivals, cookouts, vacations, and of course weddings are on deck and weddings are what I'm always excited about. Besides being a fan of true love(despite how detached I can be), weddings also give me a reason to dress up. Typically, if you know the couple, it should be easy to gauge how fun or formal your attire should be. It should always be a blazer for guys(always, no excuses) but you can go tie-less or even go in a tee. For this particular wedding I went pretty dressy just because I wanted to. The vibe was probably way more relaxed because the couple is just fun loving and very cool, but I just wanted to stand out a bit.
I went with a double breasted cotton/linen blend navy blazer. It was weather appropriate since the wedding was technically outdoors(Monday Night Brewery). I completed the look with slim tapered navy dress pants with a slim spread collar shirt and navy tie with black Ferragamo Fantino Lace up cap toes. The look came together perfectly and was functional for all the moving around and photos I would have to take throughout the night. Everything was from Suit Supply besides my shoes and I didn't wear a belt, because you shouldn't have to if the pants (and blazer) have been tailored correctly; try to ditch the belt this summer and go see your tailor.
